TOA N-8400RS N-8000 Series Substation Interface Unit

The sub station interface unit is designed for use with TOA's packet intercom system (IP network compatible intercom system) that employs the packet audio technology and can be connected to an existing local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). Network shall be made possible using RJ45 connection via a switching hub. Network interface shall be I/F 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX (Automatic-Negotiation) Auto MDI/MDI-X compatible. Network Protocol TCP/IP, UDP, ARP, ICMP, HTTP, RTP, IGMP.
The sub station interface unit shall have 16 contacts with removable plugs at the rear of the unit for the purpose of connecting up to 16 sub-stations using 2 sets of twisted pair cables. By connecting the unit to a LAN via its RJ45 connector permits the sub station interface unit to receive paging calls and make calls to both the master station connected to the IP exchange and the IP master station with 2 speech paths.
Up to 192 interface units and IP intercom exchanges (mixed) can be achieved by LAN connection.
